An edge condition of an oak woodland – plants that are compatible underneath a canopy of oak trees, with glossy, deep green leaves of different sizes and types that create varied texture.

A braided river of coffeeberry with clusters/pockets of grasses emerging out of it with just a few individual ceanothus
